It’s 2am. A snow storm had blown in during the night and like a kid, I couldn’t wait till morning to see it. I stumbled to the window for a peek, leaving my glasses behind on the nightstand. My vision was blurred, which made for the most incredible illusion. The bare winter trees were back lit by the glow of the street light, standing out against the grey sky, melting into the blanket of snow. Reminding me that even “melting points” can be beautiful.
