Trashy Legs-Make ‘Em Shine!

I get excited over broken things. I find the “fix” to be very therapeutic for me! I also have a “thang” for curvy furniture legs! On or off furniture, they always seem to lure me in! I rescued this lonely leg from a trash pile a while back, knowing I would find a good use for it! Repurposed Table Leg by A to Z Custom Creations

I thought two candle holders would be nice, so I cut it down. Please use the proper equipment and safety goggles if you do this! Cutting round objects can be tricky and it’s best to have an extra pair of hands to help out.

Yea, that looks more like it!

I painted them with Websters Chalk Paint Powder, distressed them and added some shimmer wax. That’s when my plan for two candle holders changed.

I display my vintage key chain organizer under the glass cloche. It shimmers with gold and I love it to pieces! If you know me, you know I have a several key collections. The keys displayed here were on the ring when I found it, so I left them.Repurposed Table Leg by A to Z Custom Creations

Seeing an object beyond its intended purpose can be a challenge. I hope you now see a table leg as so much more! I’d love to see your legs…your rePurposed ones ;) Feel free to share your projects with me!

Smooches!
